It's a holiday this coming weekend, hubby decided to bring us to Penang. I thought my hubby won't go to North again as he was back from his business trip last week. May be he likes to have Penang hawker food?

This time I want to have a relax and enjoy trip, so we will stay at a resort and enjoy the sun and beach. I am sure my kid will like it much as he likes play sand. I think hubby can't go for hawker food unless we stay in town.

I always wanted to stay at Shangri-la hotel, but it's too expensive. May be I will go for it one day. If my gold investment rate increase, I think I can go anytime.

Hong Kong Food

I had back from Hong Kong for holiday with family two weeks ago. I still missed some of the food that I tried like curry fish balls, prawn wantons and dim sum. You have to know the famous places to enjoy the delicious food in Hong Kong. Just like I went for dim sum twice at two different retaurant. Not every restaurant served good dim sum.

These are the delicious dim sum that I had in Tsim Sha Tsui. I forgot to snap a photo of "char siew pao". It's so yummy. But the food so pricey. We ended to pay about HK400 (RM200) for 4 adults and a kid.

I love this curry fish balls even it's so spicy.

Most people say must try rosted goose when go to Hong Kong. I don't think it's tasty. May be this restaurant not good in making roasted goose.

Celebrate Wedding Anniversary at Josephine

We celebrated our anniversary at Josephine cafe & bistro last night. It's a new cafe and I wanted to dine here on Valentine's day, but it was fully booked that day. I'm glad that hubby suggested to come here yesterday.

The food is fine and can compare with Indulgence too, no harm to try it. The price for the food is reasonable but not for their drinks. We will come back again for their pasta, pizza and tiramisu cake one day.

Valentine's Dinner

We had a great time to celebrate Valentine's Day on last Saturday. At first I told hubby not to buy me anything, we just have a dinner, that's all. But both of us received our valentine's gifts on that day, so does my kid.

At night, we went to David's Diner restaurant for our candles light dinner. Frankily, it's not candles light dinner for us, but a noisy and fast dinner as my kid singing and talk loud while we are having meal.

It was the first time I dine here. The environment is nice and too bad that I hardly snap a photo inside, but food. It was a valentine's set dinner and costs RM79 nett. Sets are served with prawn cocktail, potato basket with fried leek. As for our main dish, we chose Sirloin and Grilled dory fish for main dish. Two fruit juice and a banana split are included in the set.

Hubby and I had a great dinner with friends on the fifth day of Chinese New Year. It is a must to have a dinner gathering every year with his friends thought we can only meet some them up once a year.

As usual, we had our first dish as Yu Sheng. Since most are men, hubby decided ordered seafood like oysters, prawns, fish, crabs for them to enjoy.

I like to eat crabs especially the big big crab as our friend said, Alaska Crab. It is a very expensive dish, it costs RM500 for 2 different types of style. One is the above with yummy sauce, one is fried with salty egg. I forgot to snap the photo, too hungry to grab it. LOL!!!

I will bring my parents and parents in law to have such delicious dish one day. It's really expensive but we're shared out the bill of course.

Yu Sheng

We can only enjoy this dish - Yu Sheng during Chinese New Year. I quite like it but just don't want to eat the salmon. :P Afterall, I don't like raw food. Chinese must have this dish as it means an increase in abundance. Therefore, yusheng is considered a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor.

Today, this dish is served as an appetizer to raise 'good luck' for the new year and is usually eaten on Renri, the seventh day of the CNY. Of course I have this dish on that day with my family. Guess what, my kid also like to toss it with chopsticks. Do you know we messed up the table because the higher we toss, the greater for our fortunes.

The Worst Christmas Dinner

It was a family trip to A'Famosa on Christmas last year. Kids very happy whenever we, parents bring them along. My friend suggested to go to this place to celebrate Christmas. At first I disagreed to go as I will go to Hong Kong in March with family, I want to save money to go shopping in HK. But I agreed, afterall it's cheap to take a family package.

Frankily, hubby and I won't go to this place again. Once is more than enough. On christmas night, we had our dinner in one of its attraction, Cowboy Town.

We ordered set dinner as we needed to catch up with a carnival parade show which started at 8.30pm. The food is bad and expensive. It is the worst Christmas dinner I have ever tasted. I rather eat at home.

Wow, it has been more than a month I didn't update this blog. You all must be miss me, right? I accidentally deleted all my photos in my camera, so I don't have anything to update for the past few weeks. Well, I will try my best to catch up my food posts as much as I could.

I'm really busy lately though my maid was back to Indonesia, so I need to do house chores. Besides that, I'm selling CNY hampers at my father's shop. I go to the shop after I fetch my kid to school every day.

Tomorrow will be another new year to all of us. Here I wish all of you Happy New Year. So, where you go to celebrate it tonight? I still haven't receive any news that hubby will bring me out for countdown. My kid sure let me go unless after he goes to bed. Afterall, I feel don't like to go out and squeeze myself in a pub for the celebration.

I prefer to stay at home and celebrate it with my kid and hubby. I will buy some snacks and a sparkling juice later. I hope my kid will enjoy it.

Birthday Dinner At Sincero RiverBank

I turned 31 yesterday. Hubby brought me to have a romantic dinner at Sincero RiverBank in Sunway City Ipoh. This was the first time I came here. I like the environment and the food there is great. It's so romantic having a glass of red wine while enjoy sentimental songs with your loved ones.

We celebrated birthday with mummy in vain and her family as her hubby is same birth date with me. Too bad my kid didn't follow us as he scares to go restaurants and shops these days. I really don't know why and can't understand.

We ordered four set dinner and each set costs us RM48++. It includes soup of the day, main course, a glass of juice or house wine and dessert.

Christmas is just around the corner. I bet many people are busy decorating their house with christmas tree, so do I. I plan to go somewhere else to celebrate Christmas with my hubby and kid, but since hubby wants to buy a new car, so we better save up some money. Afterall, we just back from Bangkok last month.

I wonder if I will celebrate it at home this year? I still missed Singapore as we celebrated Christmas there last year. May be we can go for a turkey dinner too instead of travel to other place.

Of course I hope that I can enjoy turkey dinner while watching Las Vegas Shows. The chances is zero I guess. Nevermind, we can have the chance one day. Nothing is impossible in the World!

We went to this restaurant for dinner on the second day in Bangkok. Hubby thumbed up for the food, but as for me it's average. May be hubby is very hungry that time. LOL!!! Most of the dishes we ordered all fried and spicy, luckily there are some non spicy dishes for kids.

This is another seafood restaurant that my friend brought us to. It's another heavy chinese dinner especially men. We met our men and kids in Nam Sing Restaurant, Chinatown after a crazy shopping at Platinum Fashion Mall. LOL!!!

Missed Thai Food

I like Thai food especially Tom Yam. My friend brought us try lots of Thai food when I travel in Bangkok last month. It was a food hunting trip for me beside shopping. I went to Platinum Fashion Mall twice and there are wide selection of food at food court. Well, I miss those delicious food.

It was a weekday when I was shopping in Bangkok. While I'm having my meal, I saw a group of youngsters holding their own laptop sitting together and discuss something. They are more like university online students. They are so serious with their work than the delicious food there. May be they should go to library or other places to discuss their work.

It's been quite sometimes that I didn't update this food blog. I'm very busy lately as I just back from my holiday in Bangkok. I have many things need to be updated. Well, I had a wonderful trip in Bangkok with my hubby and kid last week. This trip mainly for food hunting and shopping. Of course we did brought kid to Safari World which is suitable for him.

My friends brought us to have Thai food for lunch once we reached. Oh, I like Thai food especially their Tom Yam Gong.

My hubby will renew his eyeglasses once a year even though his eye degree is not increase. Well, as for me I just change it when my eyeglasses is broken. It was a lovely Wednesday and also the first day of Hari Raya. We followed our relatives to Taiping. Nothing special as I went there last year. We brought kids to Burmese Pool and round the town before we have our lunch at Hotel Panorama.

Everyone around me down with cold nowadays. Cough is the most presenting symptom in primary practice. I personally also down with cold for more than a month. I went to see doctor but I stopped taking medicine many days as it makes me so dizzy and tired after having the medicine.

Birthday Dinner At Indulgence

I'm not sure whether I have post about this restaurant before. Anyway, I will post it again here. It hardly to find another dining restaurant like Indulgence in Ipoh again. Even though the price is so scary, but it's worth to dine.

It's my hubby's birthday yesterday and decided to choose this restaurant to celebrate with him. It has been quite some times that we didn't dine here. It's an unique and comfortable place for couple dating, family or gathering.

I ordered a plate of mushroom soup, can't manage to snap a photo as my kid and I were too hungry. LOL!!!

Japanese Food For Supper

After accompanied my kid to music class, we went to have Japanese food for supper in Greentown yesterday. The restaurant is called Arekkusu, which is just opened last week. Since hubby knows the boss there, so we have given 10% discount off, but still have to pay RM90 for the bill.

I heard from hubby that it's full and customers have to wait for about an hour before their food being served when it opened last week. Hubby can't stop ordering the varieties in the menu as he was very hungry and also a japanese dish fan. LOL!!! I stopped him as it is not healthy to eat much during night time.

If you are one of the japanese dish fans, I bet you will visit to this restaurant and try it as soon as possible.

Sunday Lunch In Sauk

Normally we will go to my parents' house after breakfast. But hubby decided to bring us to have lunch in Sauk, Kuala Kangsar two weeks ago. I asked my parents, sister and brother to join us. It's about an hour journey from Ipoh. I haven't been to such small and quiet village, but it's good to look around.

Invest In Rare Coins

I think most of us do keep coins in piggy banks. It's a good habit too for kids. We do have a lot of coins, and will use them when go for grocery shop.

But I don't understand why some people just keep them aside especially if they are rare coins. If I got rare coins, I will definitely keep them and sell off in the future. Who knows I might get a better value?

I better get a piggy bank for my kid and teach him the importance to save money. Hopefully he understands that the meaning and not play them as one of his toys.

Good source of fibre & nutrients

I bought these 2 packs of crackers from organic shop last week. It's my first try and taste good. I'm glad that my hubby and kid also like to eat too. It's so convienence as they packed into 10 packets with 10 pieces of crackers per pack.

It contains no colourings, no preservations and no additive. It's definitely good especially for growing up kids, pregnant women and elders.

I think most of us know about this packing. It is my favourite snacks from Penang. It is called "Heong Pen" in Chinese. My mother in law asked her friend who went to Penang to buy 2 boxes for her.

The shop closed on every Sunday, so if you want to get this brand of biscuits, drop by in the weekdays.

My kid likes to eat the biscuits. He can eat 2 pieces at one time. It's a simple snacks at home, with a cup of coffee, great !!!

I'm not a doctor as I hate to study hard to remember all the medical terms. I will insane to read and site through all these exams. I have a friend who took medical course and work as a doctor now. I really admire her and she did a good job in achieving her dreams.

Hubby and I decided to bring kid to Penang day tour last Sunday. We stopped by at Auto City to have Japanese buffet lunch before off to Penang. This restaurant is highly recommended by my yoga instrustor who been here many times. The food was delicious with only RM48++ for an adult.

My kid and I like the grilled salmon and I repeated the order for 3 times. LOL!!! The scallop really tasty and do order for it when you come to dine in this restaurant.

Out Of Shape

I need to go for a hair cut, but just don't have time. My kid always stick to me like glue unless he goes to sleep. But when he is sleeping, I need to help hubby on his admin and account work. Gosh, I should get myself off this coming Saturday to go hair salon.

My hair is totally out of shape. Too bad I didn't attend any beauty schools in arizona, if not I might just cut by myself. LOL!!! Any good salons recommend to me? I need qualified hairdressers who have gone to hair schools before let them to touch my hair. I don't want to look like an ugly duckling after a hair cut.

I received a flyer about MP steamboat branch is open for business at ground floor, Ipoh Parade last week. I was so eager to try their "Merry Go Round steamboat" which is the same like we have Japanese food in Sushi King.

There is not much variety of food to choose. I still prefer the main branch MP buffet steamboat in Greentown. This new branch is not the same with their main branch "eat all you can". The price will depend on how much plates you take. For example Yellow plate is RM1, Green plate is RM4.00 and etc.

If you are not try before, do try it once. Actually the food are more a less the same, the different are the style and environment only.

My friend asked me to go Chemor to have breakfast with her on last Sunday. Of course my hubby and kid are going along with me too. To me, there is nothing special to eat in Chemor. Anyway, my friend brought us to have soup noodles which is very famous in Chemor.

I know everywhere is crowded on Sunday, but I didn't know that we waited about an hour for our breakfast. Somemore the place is so hot and smelly. :( I wonder what is so special about their soup noodles.

This is the new Pizza Hut Starzbites sausage pizza that I tried with my family last week. Hubby wanted to try it, but as conclusion we don't like this new sausage pizza. I prefer the original pizza. I went to Cameron Highlands with my family yesterday. Hubby's friend invited us to this Smoke House Hotel & Restaurant for lunch. This is the first time I dine at such luxury and unique restaurant. For what I heard that this is the most expensive hotel cum restaurant in Cameron Highlands. Guess what, our bill is about RM500 for 4 adults and 1 kid. LOL!!!

I like the environment with English design. I didn't know that this Smoke House actually is a hotel. They provide luxury accomodations for tourists with RM690 per night. Wow, how I hope I can say there for a night.

This is my overdue post. I feel not like to publish it as I won't recommend you to dine at this Horoscope cafe. Why ??? First, the food not good, services bad and quite expensive too. This cafe is situated at Greentown Business Centre, which is near Kopitiam and Zenso pub.

I'm not an expert in investment, but I keen to learn if given a chance. Hubby told me that the price of gold keep on increase day by day. I wonder if it is the best time to invest in gold ? Some analysts even predicted that the price will rise higher in this few months time. Well, gold is valuable and it is worth to keep it as many as possible.

But then I have to buy gold necklace and ring for my brother as his wedding is just 2 weeks away from now. Gosh, hubby needs to spend money again after we back from our vacation last week.

I like watches, but I'm wearing a watch which is with me for almost 3 years. It is a gift from my hubby, so I precious it a lot. I do hope that I can have another new watch as gift during my birthday this year. Gosh, I don't think he will buy me a new watch unless he read this post. :P Well, hubby likes watches too, but he always keep an eyes with those luxury watches which we hardly afford at this moment. So, he better save up money and get it one day instead of buying other brands that he doesn't like.

Since Father's day is coming soon, I think watch might be a fantastic gift for my father. So, how about you? Do you have anything in mind specially for your father ? Of course other family members will join in. Besides that, there will be a present for my mother since her birthday is in the same month. My sister and I planned to buy her a full set of cosmetics.

Hubby asked me to buy flowers besides invite them for a dinner. Now, I'm busy looking for some fresh calla lilies as both of them like this flower much. Same taste ? I might get it from wholesale calla lilies as it is more cheaper with good service.

Cough And Voiceless

I'm having cough since last week and yet to recover till today. I have seen doctor and taking medicine which make me feel very sleepy. I seldom blog these days even though I have some tasks waiting for me to be completed. My hubby also got infection and has not eliminated his cough till today. Besides that, my brother, father in law and friends also got infection too.

I hope I can well recover as soon as possible as I will go for a vacation to Gold Coast with hubby next week. I have stopped myself eating too much fried and oily food, basically I'm eat at home most of the time.

Sometimes it's good to get together to have dinner with friends and kids. We went to ICC club to have steamboat with friends last Saturday. I like steamboat and I chose this place because I seldom come and dine here even though I'm a member for more than 5 years.

The environment is great, kids have more space to walk and run around after dinner. I don't like to have my dinner at crowd places even though the food is tasty and yummy.

Hubby wanted me to have supper with him on Monday. After I put my kid to sleep, I asked my maid to look after him. We seldom have supper outside, most of the time we will drink milk and eat biscuits or bread at home. It is more healthier than eating outside food.

I met my gynae and he knows me well though I'm the one who cried when I give birth even though I have took my epidural. LOL!!! He said it is the best time for me to have 2nd child. I told him it will be another 2 years plan. :P

Hubby brought me to clubbing as his new pub's opening last night. Even though I was there for 3 hours, but I really enjoyed it with the live band, chit chat with friends and tell you what, I drank 2 glasses of sparkling wain juice. Well, it contains 5% of alcohol and most of the time I don't drink, but these drinks recommended by hubby, surprised that I tried them.

My friend told me about this Momo cafe steamboat, previously known as Flame Restaurant in town. I like to have steamboat so I asked my mother in law not to cook and went out for dinner last night.

I like their style where we can order what we want in the menu. Well, we can even repeat the order, as said eat all you can. LOL!!! There are many choices and I hope to eat all of them, of course I can't, may be next time.

See,the first batch food that we ordered. Look delicious and yummy even though it's raw. The price also reasonable for adults RM18.80 per pax, if you are above 60 years old, it costs RM9.40 (half price).

I ordered bak kut teh soup and herba chicken soup. Emmmm....yummy, yummy even my hubby said the food here is better than Moven Peak Steamboat.

I missed Putu Mayam and it's hardly to find it in town nowadays. It is a sweet dish of rice noodles with coconut and jaggery as main ingredients. It also one of my childhood favourite food and my saliva dripping when it comes aross my mind. I still remembered that an Indian man riding his old motorcycle selling putu mayam in front of my house every day.

I can't see him anymore after few weeks, may be he gone to other places to sell his putu mayam or his motorcycle broke down. Well, if I know this midwest auto recycling company earlier, I will ask him to look for the spare parts. It specializes in used engines and transmissions and has one of the strongest warranty nation wide.

Anyway, it's about 10 years ago and I also forgot how he looks like. :P

We went to All Star Sports Cafe at Mid Valley for lunch after the DISNEY ON ICE show last Sunday. There're 3 families with kids having the lunch together, all of us very hungry and finish the meals in just a second as we're so eager to bring our kids to MegaKidz Sports.

I went for a family trip to KL with family and friends last weekend. We have dinner at this Chinese restaurant. Well, there were not much choices for us at Mines shopping mall, somemore we're hungry and thought to just have a simple dinner. It's a really simple dinner just like we have at home.

We ordered these simple dish and I don't feel to eat even though I'm very hungry that time. The food tasted bad with bad service and rude from the waitress. Besides that, it's very expensive to just for these few dish, we paid RM130+.....No wonder not much customers visit this restaurant. I think there is a branch in Ipoh too if I'm not mistaken, but I forgot where is it. Anyway, it's the first time and last time for us to this restaurant.

My MIL Birthday's Dinner

It was my mother in law's birthday yesterday. I suggested to hubby that we brought her to have western food at Left Shore Cafe since all of us like steak and chop. But we ended up to this A-Shore Restaurant & tea bar because my sister in law thought this is the cafe that we suggested.

They arrived earlier than us and the Left Shore Cafe closes at 8pm, so we have no choice but to have our Chinese food there. It's a new restaurant which is in town. We thought the food was bad since there's no other customers except us. :P Out of our expectation, the food is delicious and I will bring my parents to try it next time.

It's so great to have such expensive lunch with friend. We went for lunch after work on last Saturday. I came here ~ Kafe Paprika few times. I like the pumpkin soup there, but too bad that it's not in the menu this month.

I met my cousin during Chinese New Year. We have a chat about family and job. I got to know that she is looking for a better career. She is graduated in Management 5 years ago and worked in an organisation for about 4 years. She wants to resign because she is not happy with her current work.

Feeling Sad

Hubby and I brought Marcus to KL last Sunday. We're not going for shopping or vacation. We went to visit hubby's grandmother who is in her critical health condition. We have get prepare that she will pass away anytime as told by doctor. But she's passed away this morning.

I was really sad and shocked when I hear the news from my hubby. I cried when I visited her last week. She lyied on the bed, can't talk and eat, don't say walk. I was really pity on her because she is suffering pain that time.

Tonight, we will gather in a church. My deepest condolence to all her family members....

Yesterday was the last day of Chinese New Year, but we still have lots of cookies that yet to finish in the kitchen. My parents in law started to ngam ngam cham cham in front of hubby and I why we bought so much but can't finish them. Well, we are trying our best to finish them these few days :P

Among of them, I like pistachio a lot, and so does hubby. I'm taking them while writing this post. Hehehe....having healthy snacks are great !!! I guess I can finish it today. But I don't like the hard shell, make my fingers so pain when open it.

My Valentine's Dinner

I really not satisfied for my valentine's dinner two weeks ago. Hubby and I received bad service and the food wasn't good that I expected. I told my parents and friends not to go to that restaurant. Am I too bad ? But I just say the truth and I don't hope that I will receive another complain next time.

Well, hubby knew that I was unhapy and he planned to have another dinner with me this coming Saturday. Hooray !!! This time I can enjoy my dinner, hopefully I will receive bulk flowers from hubby. I'm not greedy even though I received many times from him. But I just want a surprise, that is.

Health Supplements

I don't take any health supplement before I have my health problem. I think I'm still young and need not have to take them at this moment. But I was totally wrong. I'm very take good care of myself after the incident. If you are a regular reader of my blog, I think you will know what had happened to my health.

I have my healthy drinks as to provide me full nutritions every day. Besides that, I have been eating well and taking a lot of rest. Not even I need to take care myself, but my hubby and kid too. I bought a bottle of health supplement for hubby, since he always eat outside food, I guess this supplement is good enough for his daily nutrition.

Nian Gao

Nian Gao 年糕, also called year cake or Chinese new year's cake is a food prepared from glutinous rice and consumed in Chinese cuisine. It is a health food and most of the people will have it during Chinese New Year. Chinese believed that eat "nian gao" will bring good luck throughout the year.

It can be eaten after steamed or pan fried with egg. When fried it is slightly crispy on the outside, and remains pasty on the inside. During Chinese new year, it is cut into square pieces and served along with similar cake dim sum dishes like taro cake and water chestnut cake.

I'm yet taste or eat "nian gao" this year, I should ask my mother to fry for me this weekend.

Yes, I went to MP steamboat many times as I love to eat steamboat. Besides that, I like the environment there, it's good for family or friends gathering. Well, I have a gathering with friends along with my hubby and kid on last Saturday night. I think it is the best for adults and kids get together. There are many varieties of food and you can from the photo above. The men responsible to go and take the food for us. LOL!!!

We ordered tom yam. clear soup and curry soup. Too bad, I was running down with flu and I can't taste all the food. :P I will go and have a try for the curry soup when I get well.

I like to eat when I was young, but since my mother brain wash me about the dirty and ugly look, I started get weird when I look at them. Yahoo, I will go for a holiday in Gold Coast with hubby coming this May. We have bought the air tickets but yet to book for our accomodation. Not to worry as my hubby is working in a travel company and he can get some discounts if we take for tour package.

Hubby and I have prepared money just for the trip since last year. But the thing is that I like to shop and we might spend more during the trip. It's not safe to bring too much cash as robberies cases increase day to day. I prefer to have credit cards in hands, feel safe and convenience.

I have been eating out much during Chinese New Year. I'm trying not to eat so much outside food, but see I did it again with hubby and kid for dinner at Jusco, Ipoh yesterday. This was the first time I dine here. It's a new restaurant and there are lot of people queue up to be seated.

How you celebrate Valentine's day with your loved ones?? My Valentine's day is more like a friend gathering. It's just a simple dinner with my hubby, kid and friends. We're not satisfy and anger with the sevice that this restaurant provided - Brewsterlane Kitchen. There're lot of customers, but they can't treat us like that. If they can't even provide a good service, don't say about the food. I dare not to go there again.

It is a chinese style raw fish salad. We only can eat it during Chinese New Year. Today is the fifth day of CNY, and I have my third "lou sang" since CNY eve. Doesn't it looks colourful and yummy? Well, the ingredients include fresh salmon, carrot, red pepper, peanuts, sesame seeds, chinese shrimp crackers, five spice power, oil, sauce.

The dish is served as as an appetizer to raise 'good luck' for the new year. We must have it on the seventh day of the Chinese New Year to have a prosperity new year. See, how chinese "lou sang"? So dirty? No, we purposely did it as mean that we have something leave for the brand new year.

It's great and fun to have "lou sang" with families and friends. All get together and start to toss with chopsticks. So, do you have your "lou sang" yet ???

We supposed to come here last Sunday, but not because I want to have chinese food. Well, we went to this Spaghetti Sweet Tea Cafe for supper when hubby comes back from entertaining his customers yesterday.

I didn't know about this new spaghetti house until hubby told me. He saw a brochure and decided to have a try here. Emmm....not bad but quite expensive. This supper costs us RM100, but hubby said never mind as he is generous to spend on food. It's a heavy supper for us.

Even though I have been graduated with Information Technology years ago, I still hope that I can further studies on certain courses as to improve myself. Pavilion Food Court

I went to Pavilion with hubby two weeks ago. This is the first time I go there and I really don't feel any special of the building. The only thing is there are selling lot of branded stuffs which I can't afford to buy. LOL!!!

We have our lunch before we start shopping. There are lot of food stalls and it's took me 30 minutes to decide which food stall I want. Here is the food stall I chose finally.

Chinese New Year is just one week away, I'm now so excited waiting for the day comes. I have prepare everything and getting ready for this festive season. How about you? Did you buy any new clothes? cookies? drinks? mandarin oranges?

I went to hunt for CNY's stuffs at Jusco last week. Hubby and I bought a lot of stuffs which are needed during Chinese New Year. Well, I dont like to buy CNY cookies in supermarket, not tasty and quite expensive too. I bought these cookies from San Marco Home Made Ice Cream House. It's all homemade cookies and very tasty. I like the pineapple tarts the most.

Lunch In Hotel Room

Most of the people say that the food served in hotel not delicious as outside. I don't think so as I have my lunch in the hotel room last Saturday. May be I was too hungry that time and all food served are so delicious. But it's not cheap for this room service meal. It's about RM60. Luckily I'm not the one who paid for it. LOL!!!

Craving For Steamboat Again

I like to have steamboat and I will go for a try if there is new steamboat restaurant in Ipoh. This Highway steamboat & kopitiam restaurant is situated in Ipoh Garden East, near 24 hours drive in Mcdonald. I forgot the take their name card, so no address available here.

I was so surprised that no customers except us on Saturday night. Just imagine how bad the economy nowadays. I thought this was the last time I will come here, but I was wrong after the dinner. It's not too bad, only that the staffs quite blur and not smart when take order.

We ordered clear soup and tom yam soup for our steamboat set. May be because no other customers, so the owner recommended me to have their porridge soup. It's totally free from him. LOL!!! He said that I will have porridge soup next time when I come again. He is true and the porridge soup is so delicious.

I will have my lunch at home most of the time even during weekend. It's good to eat at home rather outside. I will eat at my parents' house every Sunday and my mother is my chef. LOL!!! My mother in law decided to cook fried rice for me and my kid last week. It's so yummy and my little kid ate 2 bowls of fried rice. Even if this fried rice not delicious, but it looks so colourful, right?

I received an email from my friend yesterday. She told me not to buy or receive this kind of new drug which known as "Strawberry Quick".

There is a very scary thing going on in the schools right now that we all need to be aware of.

There is a type of crystal meth going around that looks like strawberry pop rocks (the candy that sizzles and 'pops' in your mouth). It also smells like strawberry and it is being handed out to kids in school yards. They are calling it strawberry meth or strawberry quick.

Kids are ingesting this thinking that it is candy and being rushed off to emergency in dire condition. It also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cola, cherry, grape and orange.

Please instruct your children to not accept candy from strangers and even not to accept candy that looks like this from a friend (who may have been given it and believe it is candy).

After A Heavy Dinner

Hubby and I went for a wedding dinner yesterday. Besides that, we will attend another wedding dinner tonight. These few days we will have our heavy dinner and I think it's about time for us to do something before it gets out of control. Though it's an unhealthy eating and excess weight which may cause bad to heart and other internal organs.
